Business Cards

Last week, (the post below this one), I created a personal logo.

This week, I created some awesome business cards that incorporate the logo into them.

I listed my name and put my job as the Director. The phone and address are phony. *thumbs up*

Two different cards, incorporating the same logo. Wooo.

Yup. Basically it.

Logo Designs

So I reached a stump on most recent project, not this one, the one before this one but the one after the last one. I couldn't get it to come out correctly, but I'm working on it.

Anyways.

This time around, we're making logos for ourselves and for a company of our choice.

For myself, I felt like it should reflect my general style, so I went with a more geometrically based logo with the first letter of my first and last name, which both happens to be A. I also created it in a way that the colors can be changed according to where its used.

Anyways, here's the logo for myself, used in two different settings.

Its a really simple design and I like it.

For the second logo, I created a logo for a new TV show premiering on OC16 about Hawaii Super Moms. In the specifications, it said the show segments will be divided into body, mind, spirit, and product reviews. So, for this logo, I used a simple 4 corners that represented the different parts of the show, with the show name in the middle in the ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL FONT "Futura Condensed Medium."
Those are the logos I created. I hope that they were awesome. If you want to recommend anything or say anything, say something in the comments below! I really do appreciate them.

Some of the symbols used in these logos were obtained using this awesome website, thenounproject.com. They allow designers to submit symbols that represent different nouns in the world. These symbols, according to what the designer specifies, can be public domain, creative commons attribution required, or someone could be required to pay for the rights to use the symbols in other works. These have been listed under public domain.

Anyways, I'll be sure to catch up to the CD Jewel Case, which I have been working hard on.

Made some awesome posters in Illustrator.

My style is very simple and I like to use geometrical shapes.

Here they are!

One for the class I am in, IDD 307 Online.

And here's one for a trip to the moon, available in 2018.

Hope you enjoyed them!

I was surfing the ol' interwebs and I stumbled across this artists page that I think is totally awesome.

His name is Matt W. Moore and his work is just so colorful and very geometrically based.

Here's one of his pieces.

Not exactly graphic design, but I still think that its pretty awesome. He has a variety of art pieces with typography, designing different products, skinning them, and submitting his art to various art museums.

Here's his website to check it out.
